Otter Dance Community Gathering Day
September 10, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
We wanted to offer a day for us to come together as a community to share conversation, ideas, insights, food, drums, fire, and whatever else we want to include.
We are so often together for circles, teachings, ceremonies, and all the formality that goes with it, that I am really missing the fellowship, friendship and connection that truly make us a community, a tribe. If you have never joined us in person, this is the BEST time to jump in!
All are welcome! Bring your drums, your pot luck dish to share, your picnic blanket or your camping chair and let’s have some fun!
This will be a monthly event that will include all ages. We will even have our regular PathFinders Gathering on these community days. This way our Young People can have their spacial time together and create their own community!
During PathFinders’ our young people will experience, talking circles and creative interaction we will help the Young People explore the teaching and practice of the indigenous wisdom. We will craft Medicine tools such as Talking Sticks, Medicine Bags, Drums, rattles etc, throughout the year… The goal is to encourage the Young People to find their own Path and honor the Earth and their connection to all of creation. PathFinders will support the youth in their “internal education” to connect to the truth of who they each are.
Dina Butler is our PathFinder Teacher and Organizer and we are thrilled for her enthusiasm and dedication to the Young People. Dina will be organizing each gathering and arranging for guest teachers and all activities. Please contact Dina via Facebook message or email at PathFinders.email@example.com
We look forward to seeing you all there!

We want to share in community, food and prayers but also have everyone share in the preparations.
**Our wish is for each of us to become self-sufficient and for this practice to become customary for you so we can operate as a more efficient community. NO GARBAGE and minimal clean up is our goal, so if you bring any trash or recyclable items, please take them home.
**Create a picnic bag for yourself! Include your plate/bowl, eating utensils, drink and napkins, water toys, change of clothes, and trash bag. After eating you can put your items and leftover food back into your bag to take home. Please keep in mind, if we each don’t do our part, someone else has to do it for us. If everyone participates, we can make this happen!
