Animatrix Fire Dance

Every woman is an Animatrix, she who animates something, brings something to life, she who quickens. Each in our own way, we are creators.

We are daughters of daughters. Some of us are mothers, but all of us are daughters, all birthed through lines that weave back to that First Mother. All are connected from the very beginning. All are connected in the now.

Mothers, Daughters, Grandmothers, Great Grandmothers, Great Great Grandmothers. All daughters are born from One. Original. Egg. from One. Original. Woman.

So why do we believe in separation?

Why do we continue to cultivate animosity toward other women?

Why do we harbor jealousy and deny the support of other women?

Because our matriarchal instincts, intuitions, and truths were eroded away by those who feared our Animatrix powers. And thus was born the Mother Wound, the Sister Wound, the Witch Wound. All designed to make us forget that we are the ones who birth, create, and empower.

We will call on the mythological and archetypal Mothers, Goddesses, and Women to join us through the Fires as we Dance, Heal, Release, and Remember.

Let us Dance to heal these wounds, to reclaim the Fires, and to remember our own connection, as an Animatrix, back to the first Mother.

Let us, when we see another woman, look in her eyes and see the Ancestral Lines – the lines of women – that lead us back to who we are.

Where are we going, Mother?
And how will we get there Sister?
By staying connected Daughter and allowing for difference.

For each one of us are, after all, Daughters of Daughters, of Daughters, of our One Mother.

This is your invitation, Sister, to come and be a part of this Animatrix Fire Dance, a Fire Dance for Women.

This is a 3-day Ceremony. The support Crew and Dancers are required to be fully present from Friday noon to Sunday late afternoon. It is not possible to attend parts of the Ceremony or to come for a little portion of the time. This ceremony is for all Women, including Trans Women.
